Vegeta

Vegeta, a robust individual with below-average height standing at 164 centimeters, showcases distinct physical traits. His hair, either black or dark reddish brown depending on the portrayal, spikes upward from his head. Notably, he possesses a prominent widow’s peak and well-defined, stern-looking eyes, a common feature among Saiyans from Universe 7. In line with his Saiyan heritage, he was born with a prehensile brown-furred tail, which was later permanently severed by Yajirobe.

Throughout the series, Vegeta’s appearance undergoes evolution. Initially appearing shorter and slender, especially when compared to his bulkier companion Nappa, he gradually gains height and noticeable muscularity. His hair and forehead become shorter, and his facial features, often locked in a scowl (in contrast to his earlier demeanor when he smiled frequently), grow more pronounced and sharply defined as the series unfolds. This progression makes him appear considerably older in later sagas compared to his debut appearance.

A significant aspect of Vegeta’s image is his steadfast adherence to traditional Saiyan combat attire. He commonly wears a dark blue full-body jumpsuit with white gloves and boots, layered over the iconic Saiyan armor. He has been observed donning variations of this attire, customizing it to reflect his personality. Upon arriving on Earth, he sported white armor with yellow shoulder pads, padding at his hips and groin, and a red lens scouter over his left eye. In the Frieza Saga, he switched to a similar armor design, omitting the waist padding, and discarded a scouter as unnecessary. Following damage sustained in his battle against Recoome, he switched to an older model outfit consisting of a black bodysuit, white gloves and boots, and nearly all-white armor sans shoulder pads. During the Trunks Saga, his outfit included a pink short-sleeved loose button shirt bearing the inscription “Bad Man” on the back, a white sleeveless undershirt, yellow pants, and green shoes with brown trim. In the Androids Saga, he revisited an updated version of his original armor, albeit without shoulder pads. To participate in the World Martial Arts Tournament during the Buu Saga, Vegeta opted for a sleeveless blue tank top tucked into matching sweatpants, along with white gloves and boots. A similar ensemble continued in Dragon Ball Super: Broly and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, with the bodysuit’s hue shifting to navy blue.
