Miles Gonzalo Morales is a fictional superhero character in Marvel Comics. He is one of the Spider-Man characters and was created in 2011 by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli with input from Axel Alonso. Miles is a biracial teenager, with an African-American father and a Puerto Rican mother. He is the second Spider-Man to appear in Ultimate Marvel and was introduced after the death of the original Spider-Man, Peter Parker. Miles was initially featured in the Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man comic book series, and after the Ultimate imprint ended, he became a character in the main Marvel Universe.
